Peart, Frances Martha – 97, Cooks Cove, formerly of Roachvale, Guysborough County died Saturday, June 11, 2011 in Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough. Born in Roachvale, she was a daughter of the late Wiley and Mary Ann (Cook) Peart.
Frances loved to knit, go for drives and she had a special spot in her heart for children. She is survived by several nieces and nephews; her extended family, Harold and Dolena Lumsden and their family. Frances was predeceased by brother, Robert Peart; sisters, Margaret Peart, Effie Munroe, Bessie Hartling and Mary Hilchie.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 14, from 10 – 10:45 a.m., then a private family funeral service at 11 a.m. all in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough with Rev. David Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough. Memorial donations may be made in Frances’ memory to Guysborough Memorial Hospital or Milford Haven Home for Special Care. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
