Snow, Mary Frances of Guysborough, Guysborough County, age 76. It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Mary passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in Guysborough Memorial Hospital, Guysborough. Born in Antigonish she was a daughter of the late James and Alice May (Snyder) Bond. Mary is survived by her daughter, Rose (Gerald) Fitzgerald, Guysborough; sons, Billy (Pam), Burlington; Paul (Helen), Halifax; special friend and companion, Bruce Hart, Guysborough; brother, James (Donna), Halfway Cove; special niece, Donna; her dear "sister" Aggie; grandchildren, Kara, Clinton, Jessie, Trisana, Jonathan, Josh and Bryce; great-granddaughter, Jersie; and all her friends and neighbours at Ferry Lane. Mary was predeceased by her husband, John; daughter, Theresa Jackson; sister, Anne and her oldest grandson, Jeremy. In keeping with Mary’s wishes there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 9, at 2 p.m. from St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Guysborough with Father Daniel MacLennan officiating. Burial to follow in St. Ann’s Parish Cemetery, Guysborough. A reception to follow at The Royal Canadian Legion Br. 81, Guysborough. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mary’s memory to St. Ann’s Cemetery Fund or Guysborough Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
