MacPHAIL, Elizabeth "Jean" — 75, West Bay Road, passed away Monday, April 12, 2010, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Bras d'Or, she was a daughter of the late William Herbert and Elizabeth Mae (Stubbert) Mansfield. Jean was a homemaker and an adherent of River Deny's Presbyterian Church. She is survived by daughter, Beth (Martin) Ryan, Port Hawkesbury; son, Malcolm (Cheryl), Creignish; brothers, George (Becky), St. Catharine's, Ont.; Peter (Sally), Bras d'Or; Wilson (Phyllis), Sydney Mines; grandchildren, Gerard, Alyssa, Lily and Jessie. She was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm John "Buddy"; two sisters in infancy and two brothers in infancy; brothers, Daniel, William and Orville. Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 2-9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in River Denys Presbyterian Church with Rev. Lloyd Murdock officiating. Burial in Margaret Taylor Cemetery, River Denys. Family flowers only please.
