MacRae, Carol Marie – 61, Evanston, Richmond, Co., Passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012 in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born on Antigonish she was a daughter of Eileen Evelyn (Timmons), Reynolds, Port Hawkesbury and the late John Alexander Reynolds. Carol was a homemaker; she loved dancing, music, reading, and search words. She especially loved family, friends and spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Lorne) McNamara ; son, Robert, both of Evanston; sisters, Johnena (Fred) Scott, B.C.; Sarah (Lennie) LeLacheur, Florence Stone both of Port Hawkesbury; brothers, Eddie, Rockdale; Henry, Walter and Eric all of Port Hawkesbury; half brother, Findlay, Inverness; granddaughters, Susan and Alyson. She also leaves her canine companion, Midnight. She was predeceased by sister, Evelyn Hankens. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, January 4, in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. There will be no church service. Cremation to follow.
