MONTALVO, (Richardson) Millie – 63, Raymond, Maine; formerly of Canso, died Thursday, June 6, 2013, in Brunswick, Maine. Born in Canso, she was the daughter of the late Annie (Munroe) and Arthur (Knockie) Richardson. She is survived by her husband, Bill Montalvo; daughters, Christine MacKenzie, Antigonish; Sarah Montalvo, Raymond, Maine; four sisters, Nellie (Gerald) Lumsden, Canso; Patsy Wells, Port Hawkesbury; Barbara Corkum (John), Bridgewater; Cora Methot (Robert), Massachusetts; five brothers, Joe (Chrissie), Canso; Austin (Jodi), Tantallion; Wayne (Charlene), Port Hawkesbury; Jim (Darlene), Dartmouth; Ike, Canso. She was predeceased by brother, Donnie; sister, Sharon. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, from Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Canso with Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
