MacLellan, Mary Josephine – Long Stretch Road, Inverness Co., age 89. Passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 in the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish. Mary was born in Meat Cove, Inverness Co. She was a daughter of the late Angus and Christina (MacEachern) Fraser. She was a home maker and a member of St. Joseph Parish Port Hawkesbury. She is survived by daughters, Mary MacLellan, (grandchildren, Karen MacIntyre (Wesley Samson), and Bernie MacIntyre; great-grandson, Gavin); Linda (Allan) Bates, Karen (Vince) Daigle, Tena (Sandy) all of Long Stretch Road; daughter-in-law, Theresa MacLellan, Bay St. Lawrence; sons, Murdoch (Mary), Winnipeg, Manitoba; Gussie, Port Hawkesbury; Fraser (Debbie), Crandall Road; son-in-law, Angus MacDonald, Antigonish; sisters, Katie Fraser, Troy; Marcella Dunphy, Dingwall; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great- great-grandchildren. Mary is predeceased by her husband, Donald A.; sons, Gary and Robert; daughters, Shelia MacDonald; daughter, Mary, in infancy; brothers, Murdoch, Fraser, Frankie; sisters, (Sis) Cassie, Sarah, Christy; grandsons, Robbie and Dougie MacLellan. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury with Father Conrad Edwards officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Mary to The Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, St. Joseph Parish or St. Joseph Cemetery Fund.
