MacKAY, Winston - 61, Whycocomagh, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at home. Born in Dunakin, Inverness Co., he was a son of the late John and Mary (Buchanan) MacKay. He was a welder and a member of Stewart United Church, Whycocomagh. Surviving are sisters, Annie Morrison, Whycocomagh; Laura (Morrison) MacInnis, Halifax; Catherine Gillis, New Glasgow; Edna MacLeod, Sussex, N.B.; Patricia (Thomas) MacLeod, Blues Mills; brothers, D.J. and Stanley, both of Inverness; Willie, River Denys; Kennie (Shirley), Hamilton, Ont.; Morrison (Emily), Whycocomagh; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Johanna MacDonald; brothers, Earl and Norman. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Saturday, March 27, in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 28, in Stewart United Church, Donna Tourneur officiating. Burial in Stewartdale Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to Stewartdale Cemetery Fund. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
