PARKER, Charles Vivian - 65, Canso, died Friday, March 31, 2006 in Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
Born in Canso, he was a son of Margaret (Mason) Parker, Seaside Manor, Canso, and the late Cecil Parker. He was a retired fisherman and a member of Star of the Sea Parish, Canso. Surviving are his wife, Joanne (LeBlanc); sons, Chuck (Joan), Elmsdale; Mike, Canso; sisters, Daisy (Doug) Grover, White Head; Theresa (Howie) McPhee, Sydney; Brenda Bond, Canso; Marilyn (Eddie) Rossong, Eastern Passage; Rita (Neil) Collins, Sydney; Gertie (Roger) Grant, Colleen (Tom) Bouchie, both of Canso; brothers, Tom (Doris), White Head; Billy (Pauline), Steve (Christina), Dave (Rosie), all of Canso; Nelson, Bridgewater; John (Marg), Canso; granddaughter, Kelsey. He was predeceased by brother, Cecil, and granddaughters, Hope and Haley.
Visitation will be held today from 11 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be held at 3 p.m. today in Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Father Daniel Boudreau officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
