STARK (LeBLANC), Shirley Anne – 65, Mulgrave, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at home. She was born in Mulgrave, to the late Simon and Helen (Goodwin) LeBlanc, on April 26, 1947.
She is survived by her sister, Mary LeBlanc; brother, Alfred LeBlanc; son, Roderick Stark; grandson, William Blake Stark; nieces, Vera Lynn LeBlanc and Rachael LeBlanc. She was predeceased by brother, Seward LeBlanc. She will be remembered for her love of literature, her country music and overcoming cancer. Her spirit will be sadly missed by those who knew her.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, in the Mulgrave and Area Resting Place, Mulgrave. Funeral mass will be held 2 p.m. Friday from St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Mulgrave, with Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in Shirley’s memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society.
