JAMIESON, Dwayne Lewis – 49, Hadleyville, Guysborough Co., passed away Monday, April 30, 2012, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Lewis and Bertha (Miles) Jamieson.
Dwayne spent much of his life on the open waters in Northern Canada as a Mechanical Engineer. He was well known in his community and will be sadly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn (Borden) Jamieson; son, Wade; daughter, Amie; 2 grandchildren, Logan and Taylor; brothers, Kevin and Lloyd; sisters, Cindy, Cathy and Leisa. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Arron and Alice Miles; paternal grandparents, Hugh and Dorothy Jamieson.
Dwayne will rest from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Wednesday, in St. James Anglican Church, Middle Melford, from where funeral service will be held 3p.m. Thursday, with Rev. Evelyn Knorr officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Funeral arrangements for Dwayne are under the care and direction of the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
