WILLIAMS, Kathleen Bernadette – It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Kathleen Bernadette Williams, 72 of East Havre Boucher, which occurred in St. Martha’s Hospital on Sunday, February 23, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Antigonish, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Victor and Margaret (Casey) DeCoste. Kathleen is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Arthur; her children, Debbie (Robert), Calvin (Mae), Linda (Steven), Barbra (Darrel), Patricia, Gary, Artie (Susie); grandchildren, Jason, Brittany, Michael, Bernadette, Corey, Stephanie, Suzanne, Melissa, Matthew, Daniel, Ashley; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna (Jack), Dartmouth, Agatha (Louie), Theresa (Dennis), Rita (Phillip) of Havre Boucher; Barbara (the late Rudy), Monastery; Adeline, Port Hawkesbury; brothers, Joseph, Antigonish; Gerard (Loretta), Havre Boucher; Michael, Riverton; sisters-in-law, Anne Marie (Gerald), Hacketts Cove; Vivian, Yarmouth; brothers-in-law, Roy and Alex. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her father and mother-in-law, Albert and Elma (Taylor) Williams; sister, Patricia; brothers-in-law, Donald, Taylor and Don; sister-in-law, Gladys. She was welcomed into heaven by her granddaughter, Jenna-Marie. As a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was always there with love and affection. Visitation will take place from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul’s Parish Centre. Funeral mass will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday from St. Paul’s Parish Church, Havre Boucher with Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial will take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
