MacKenzie, Carol Ann - 60, of Little Dover, Guysborough County passed away surrounded by her family in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso on Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Born in Canso she was a daughter of Verna (Haines) Grant and the late Douglas Grant. Lovingly remembered by her husband of 43 years, Steve; sons, Doug (Marlene), Warren; daughter, Kerry (Dennis); grandchildren, Mackenzie, Morgan, Layne, Sam, mother, Verna; brother, Roger (Gertie), sister, Loretta (Greg); as well as several nieces and nephews and many other family and friends. Carol Ann was predeceased by her father, Douglas Grant; infant brother, John Paul; nephews, Gordon Grant and Dennis MacKenzie. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Little Dover with Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. A reception will follow in St. Agnes Parish Hall. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso.
