Lynch, Marion Grace - 80, Halifax formerly of Port Malcolm, Richmond Co., passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2012 in Maplestone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Port Malcolm, she was a daughter of the late George and Grace (Langley) Malcolm. Marion was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish, Lower River Inhabitants. She is survived by her husband, Albert; children, Ken (Cathy), Don, Donna (Steven), Grace (Don), Sheryl (Blair), Richard, Frank (Donna), Kelly (Jim), Lori (Keith); brothers, Geordie, Roy, and Henry (Mare); 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Tom. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, from St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Lower River Inhabitants, with Father Barrett Clare-Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made in Marion’s memory to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or Canadian Diabetes Association.
