SMITH, Gault Adams, - 91,Hillsborough, Inverness Co., passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, in the Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. Born in Hillsborough on July 11, 1920, he was a son of the late John Lewis and Claudie (Smith) Smith. He was a member of the former Mabou-Hillsborough United Church. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are step-daughters, Chlory (Gordon) MacLean, Inverness; Bertha Deveaux, Inverness; stepsons, Louis (Wendy) Lanceleve, Foot Cape; Angus (Rhoda) Lanceleve, West Lake Ainslie; numerous first cousins as well. He was predeceased by his wife, Chlory (Fasquel) Lanceleve; stepsons, Jules and Morris; stepdaughter, Victoria. Visitation will be from 2-9pm on Saturday, in the former Mabou-Hillsborough United Church. Service will be held at a later date, with burial in Rankinville Pioneer Cemetery.
