ARMSWORTHY, Eileen Edith - 80, Canso, Guysborough Co., passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012 in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Canso, she was a daughter of the late Ross and Mabel (Bennett) Swaine. Eileen was a member of Canso United Baptist Church. She was a retired school teacher having taught for many years in Canso and Hazel Hill. She is survived by many friends. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Clyde Armsworthy. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will take place 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 11 in Fourth Hill Cemetery, Canso with Rev. David Wheeler officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso.
