JOHNSON, Theresa Louise – Monastery, Antigonish Co. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Theresa Louise Johnson. She passed away at the age of 88 on Thursday, October 10, 2013, in the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lincolnville, Guysborough Co., she was the daughter of the late James and Cora (Reddick) Jordan. She is survived by sons, Wes (Pat), Peter (Lillian), Steven, Bernard, Louis (Marie); daughters, Donna (Hughie), Beverly (Phil), Amanda (Kevin), Nora; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by companion, James (Jim) Desmond. She was predeceased by her husbands, Wesley Croxen and Frederick Robert Johnson; daughter, Lorraine in infancy; brothers, Charles and Earl Jordan; sister, Dorothy (Mae) MacLean. Special thanks to Dr. Anita Foley and Dr. Michelle Murphy and staff at the Delli Suite of the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, in St. Peter’s Meeting Place, Tracadie. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Monday, from St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Tracadie, with Father John Barry officiating. Repast will follow at the Lincolnville Community Development Centre. Memorial donations may be made to the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
