Kevin, Ian, Blaise, Patricia and Anne Marie, I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a real gentleman. He had (to me) a commanding voice, that went with his distinguished personality. As a kid, the most powerful person I could imagine was a prinicpal. That Uncle John was one convinced me I came from an important family. The thing that I think of most about Uncle John was his kindness and connection to his sisters, especially Grandma Lamey. Every week he took her to get groceries. It was a ritual that kept them in touch with each other an on a regular basis...I wish I saw my siblings so often. I admired him so much for that, how Grandma could rely on him for support and companionship. A very good man. I don't know that I can make it to the wake or funeral, but I will be thinking of you all, and sending thoughts of love and strength. Love, Angela
