MacINTOSH, Gussie Charles -71, Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014, in the nursing home. Born in West Bay Center, he was a son of the late William and Cassie (MacGregor) MacIntosh. Gussie was a welder for many years having worked at MacIntosh Welding and Gordon MacDonald Welding for over 20 years. Surviving are his son, Ronnie (Laura), Port Hawkesbury; sisters, Anna (Bill) MacKinnon, Lake Ainslie; Mae (Nelson) Poole, Whycocomagh; grandchildren, Leslie and Travis; great-grandchild, Harland. He was predeceased by his brother, Roy. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Burial will be at a later date in Stewartdale Cemetery, Whycocomagh. Memorial donations may be made to the MS Society, Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of one’s choice.
