THORNLEY, David Robert Andrew -48, Boylston, Guysborough Co., passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014, in the Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in London, Ont, he was a son of Virginia (Phillips) Thornley and the late Bruce Thornley. David was a Process Operator with Ocean Nutrition in Mulgrave. Surviving are his wife, Shell (Hughey), Boylston; daughter, Athena Yates, Adrian, Michigan USA; sons, Gabriel Thornley, Josiah Hughey, West Lorne, Ont; Jamie Thornley, Boylston; brother, Phillip (Carrie), London, Ont; grandchildren, Gillian Yates, Talon Brown, Laina Hughey, Devon Hughey. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014, in Boylston United Church Cemetery, with Rev. Heather Manuel officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Military Family Resource Centres. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough.
