WORTH, Ronald Angus – Age 55, Lesterdale, Guysborough Co., passed away on Sunday December 10, 2017. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Joseph Tompkins and Marion Mae (Horton) Worth. Ronnie was part owner of Worth Brothers Welding. He enjoyed snowmobiling, quads and pleasure boating. He loved attending the races at Riverside Speedway.
Surviving are his sons, Dylan, at home and his mother, Kimberly Ingemansen; Teddy Torrey (Selena) and his mother, Ruby O’Rourke, Lower Sackville; he was loved by Diane MacPherson and step-daughters, Sarah and Molly; brothers, Patrick Worth, Keswick, Ont; Brian (Kimberley), Monastery; Larry and his children, Kelsey and Cole Worth, Lesterdale; James, Fort Saskatchewan, AB. He was predeceased by his special friends, Ozzie and Eileen Torrey.
Visitation will be from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday from St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Guysborough with Father Callistus Abazie officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Guysborough Memorial Hospital Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
