HEARN, Patrick Joseph Sr. - 69, Mulgrave, passed away suddenly Friday, August 27, 2004, in Mulgrave. Born in Wallace, he was a son of the late Joseph C. and Annie T. (Harrison) Hearn. Pat was a retired Jack of All Trades, a member of St. Lawrence Parish, Mulgrave, a founding member of the former Mulgrave Kinsmen Club and a former member of the Highland Flying Club.
He is survived by his wife, the former Betty Power; daughters, Sharon (Martin) Kavanaugh, Sand Point; Karen (Carroll) Benoit, Tracadie; Elizabeth, Mulgrave; sons, Rick (Kathy), Mulgrave; Pat Jr. (Joyce), Lower South River; Robert (Sharleen), Eastern Passage; sisters, Karen (Jim) Knapp, Berwick; Evelyn Kennedy, Monastery; half-sister, Margaret Parks, Toronto; sister-in-law, Sadie Hearn, Port Hawkesbury; grandchildren, Michael and Kyle Hearn, Adam and Megan Kavanaugh, Chad and Jana Benoit, Lauren and Joshua Hearn, Juanita and Rebecca O'Connor, Samantha Fox; stepgrandchildren, Jocelyn Bowers, Tara and Tyler Stewart. He was predeceased by stepfather, Everett Kennedy; brother, Fred; nephew, Colin; half-sister, Betty.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Sunday in Mulgrave and Area Resting Place. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Monday, in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Father Konstanty Pruszynski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
