HINES, William Albert 'Bill' - 61, Princeville, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2004, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Ingonish, he was a son of the late Hugh and Alfretta (Hawley) Hines. He worked at the Heavy Water Plant for 18 years as a carpenter and he was also a self-employed contractor. He was a former union brother of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local No.1588. He was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Parish, West Bay Road. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Bonnie (Sampson); daughter, Laurie (Phil Marchand), Antigonish; sons, Billy Joe (Nicole), West Arichat; Johnny (Martha Matheson), Bedford; Tommy (Jill), Sackville; Jason (Jenell Peach), Port Hawkesbury; grandchildren, Emma, Kobe, Sam, Corey, Colton, Connor, Breanne, Morgan, Faith; sisters, Evelyn (Tom) Donovan, Ingonish; Wilena (Joe) Doucette, West Bay; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Norma; brothers, Melvin, Harold, Tom, Raymond and Dave. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today and Wednesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be 2 p.m. Thursday, in St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Donations in Bill's memory may be made to St. Margaret's Building Fund or St. Margaret's Cemetery Fund. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
