HORNE, Elizabeth Jane – 72, Little Dover, Guysborough Co. passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Port Aux Basques, NFLD, she was a daughter of the late James and Winifred Bennett. She was a member of the Little Dover Seniors Club, as well as St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Little Dover. Surviving are daughter, Kim (Jim) Bouchie, Little Dover; sons, Jimmy (Della) Horne, Little Dover; Chris Horne, Halifax; sisters, Frances Bird, Gloria (Yvon) Bond, Carrie (Frank) Osmond, all of Port Aux Basques; brother, Walter (Linda) Bennett, Cole Harbour; grandchildren, Natasha and Todd Bouchie, Dana and Kayla Horne, great-grandchildren, Cadence and Donovan Bouchie, Trent Feltmate. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Horne, two children in infancy. Visitation will be held from 2-9p.m. Thursday and Friday in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral Mass will be held 11a.m. Saturday from St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Little Dover, with Father Bill Crispo officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
