Hinkley, Hector Francis Myles – 43, Port Hawkesbury, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 25, 2012 at home. Hector was born in Inverness on January 6, 1969. He was a son of Myles and Mary (Kennedy) Hinkley of Margaree. Besides his parents, Hector is survived by his wife, Laura Lee (Embree), Port Hawkesbury; daughters, Kylie, Antigonish; Jalissa, at home; son, Tyler, at home; sisters, Sally Hinkley, Inverness; Danena MacDonnell, Port Hawkesbury; Mary MacNeil, Inverness; Irene Marshall, Port Hawkesbury; brothers, Ernie (Mary), Brian (Jessie), Archie all of Margaree; Bernie(Corina), Inverness; Walter (Sam), Johnny (April) both of Port Hawkesbury and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by stepson, Charles Embree. Visitation will be held Thursday, from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury, with Father Andrew Boyd officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.
