Horton, Blanche Catherine - 78, Canso, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013 in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Fox Island, Guysborough County she was a daughter of the late John and Veronica (Richard) Snow. Blanche was a retired worker from the Canso Fish Plant. She is survived by her long time companion, Leo Corkum, Canso; daughter, May Snow, Dartmouth; sister, Sophie Tarry, sister-in-law, Gladys Snow and her boys; brothers, Tory, Gilbert, Gerald, Ron and Francis and numerous nieces and nephews. Blanche was predeceased by her husband, Judson David, sisters, Elizabeth, Marie and Florence, brothers, John, Robert, Albert, Tom, Percy and Chester. There will be no visitation or church service. A private graveside service will take place in Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Cemetery, Canso at a later date with Father Dan MacDonald officiating.
