HAINES, Frank Isaac -78, Little Dover, Guysborough Co., passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Little Dover on February 28, 1937, he was a son of the late Isaac and Alvina (Boudreau) Haines. Frank was a fisherman most of his life and he was on the Lake Boats for several years. He enjoyed card plays and spent many days in the building doing heading for fisherman. Surviving Frank is his wife, Marilyn (Nickerson); sons, Tracey, Little Dover; Danny (Denise), Fox Island; Darren (Tammy), Halifax; daughter, Melonie, Halifax; 2 granddaughters, Jessica, Halifax; Memory, Ontario; great-grandson, Liam, Halifax; sisters, Celene (Arnold), Queensport; Marg (Bruce), Moncton; brother, Clayton (Juanita), Canso; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Philip, Emmette, Maurice, Larry and Harvey; sisters, Irene and Bertha; brothers-in-law, Wayne Rhynold and Ivan Zivonac; sister-in-law, Laura Haines. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 from St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Little Dover with Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
