POUNTNEY (George), Agatha Marie - 53, Manassette Lake, Guysborough Co., died March 2, 2005, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Manassette Lake, she was a daughter of Mrs. Eva Mae (Carter) George, Antigonish, and the late Delbert Joseph George. Besides her mother, she is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth; foster daughter, Dawn George, Ontario; sons, Larry (Paula) Graham, Port Hawkesbury; Jimmy (Gail) George, Antigonish; stepsons, Kenny Pountney, Thorburn; James Pountney, Calgary; Kevin Pountney, Hopewell; sister, Victoria (Lewis) Hendsbee, Halfway Cove; brothers, Gordon (Viola), Port Shoreham; Albert, Pictou; Allison (Gail), Belmont; Billy and Louis (Marina), Manassette Lake; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Ronald Graham; son, Russell Graham; brother, Robert in infancy.
Visitation will be held today from 2-9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough, with a family prayer service at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Michael Conrad officiating. Cremation to follow. Burial in Holy Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery, Hadleyville, at a later date. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
