Mac GILLIVARY, Mary Florence — 67, Port Hawkesbury, formerly of Glendale, Inverness, Co. died Saturday June, 5, 2010 in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Inverness, she was a daughter of Christine (Mac Leod) O'Brien, North Grant and the late Vincent O'Brien. She was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Parish, Glendale. She is survived by her loving husband Donald H.; children Janet (David) Degano, Bradford, Ont., Angus A. (Annette), Dundee, Margaret Anne (John) MacRae, Enfield, Sheldon, Port Hawkesbury, Brennan (Lucy), Lower South River; siblings John Michael (Christine) O'Brien, Glendale, Joseph (Della) O'Brien, Sydney, Theresa (Benny) Smeenk, Maryvale, Irene O'Brien, Bedford, Patsy O'Brien, North Grant, Gerard O'Brien, Howie Center, Lawrence (Joyce) O'Brien, Southside Harbour, Blaise (Brenda) O'Brien, Grand Mira; ten grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Annette Brigley and her brother Brian O'Brien. Visitation will be held 2-9 p.m. today (Monday) in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary of the Angels Roman Catholic Church, Glendale with Fr. Barrett Clare-Johnson officiating, concelebrating will be Fr. Andrew Boyd. Burial in Parish Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Lung Association of Nova Scotia, Strait Richmond Hospital or a charity of your choice.
