SANGSTER, Victor Lloyd – 73, Hortons Cove Road, Guysborough Co., passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013, in Hortons Cove Road. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Clair and Rose (Williams) Sangster. Victor worked and loved to work on his farm all of his life. He treasured his horses and cattle immensely, it was the love of his life. He also worked for the Department of Transportation for many years. He was a great husband, dad and grandfather. Forever loved by all. Surviving is his wife of 49 loving years, Debbie (Hendsbee) Sangster; sons, Kirk, Cooks Cove; James (Karen), Milford; brother, Harold (Freda), Canning; granddaughter, Krystal, Pinevale, Antigonish Co; great-grandchildren, Adison and Xavier; also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Rita Hendsbee; brother, Wayne Warner; niece, Carol Sangster. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, from Guysborough Baptist Church, with Rev. Warren Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough. Family flowers only please.
