King, Doris Bessie, Age 75 of Port Hawkesbury. Passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Amherst on February 22, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Sheppard and Jeannie (Sharpe) Stultz. She is survived by her children, Murray (Helen), New Brunswick; Penny, Florida; Carl, Hermon (Dawn-Eve), and William, all of British Columbia; brother, Percy; 12 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil King; son, John and brothers, John and Fred. Doris worked with Alteen’s and Cameo Jewellers for many years; she was a dedicated volunteer with Al-Anon for many years. Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a vigil service at 7 p.m. all in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014, from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury with Father Conrad Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Cemetery Fund or Strait Richmond Hospital Palliative Care Society.
