Meagher, Mary Helen – 94, Mulgrave, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in D’Escousse, Richmond Co., she was a daughter of the late Henry and Catherine (Pettipas) Doyle. Helen was a member of St. Lawrence Parish, Mulgrave. Helen is survived by her daughters, Lillian (Trevor), Mulgrave; Angela (Alfred) Kelly-Landry, Pirate Harbour; sons, Francis (Jean), Dartmouth; Stanley (Phyllis), Mulgrave; Leonard (Jeanette), Ottawa; Joe (Marlene), Wayne both of Mulgrave; half sister Joan (Gerald) Collins, Mulgrave; half brothers, Hurbert Doyle, Earl Doyle and Roy Doyle, all of Rocky Bay; 28 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildrren. Helen was predeceased by her Husband, Harold; daughter, Annette Baker; sons, Colin, Hughie, Milton, James in infancy; grandson Jason; granddaughters Scarlette and Julia; half sister, Jean Smith. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Mulgrave and Area Resting Place. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday from St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Mulgrave with Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a late date. Memorial donations may be made to the Mulgrave and Area Resting Place or to St. Lawrence Cemetery Fund.
