Langley, Brenda Anne - Age 66 years of Squamish, BC, formerly of Point Tupper passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 in Squamish General Hospital, Squamish, BC. Born on Nov 4, 1948 she was a daughter of the late Angus and Christena (Graham) Langley, (Point Tupper). Brenda loved the West Coast where she spent the last 35 years, but her heart was always in Cape Breton where she will be laid to rest. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren for whom she had abounding love. She is survived by sons, Wade Murray, Pemberton , BC; Sean Murray, Squamish, BC; daughter, Janice Hicks (Carl Phinney), Saskatchewan; grandchildren, Stephanie Hale McDermott (Andrew), Ottawa ; Spencer Hale, New Glasgow; brother, John "Jack" Langley, Halifax; sister, Kathy (Gerard ) MacIntyre, Dartmouth; nephew, Brent (Amanda) MacIntyre and niece Jacqueline (John) MacIntyre, Dartmouth. She was predeceased by brother, John David in infancy. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 14 from 1-2:45 p.m., with a service of Remembrance will be held at 3:00 p.m. both in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, 724 Granville St., Port Hawkesbury with Lana B. MacLean officiating. Burial to follow in Southbrook Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury. Donations may be made in memory of Brenda to Canadian Cancer Society.
