GIAMPOLO, Arthur Ernest - 76, Crowdis Bridge, Valley Mills, passed away Monday, August 29, 2005, at home. Born in Hartford, Conn., on May 2, 1929, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Marianna (Boccacio) Giampolo. He worked as a stagehand. He is survived by daughters, Angela Babella, Windsor, Conn.; Dina Stewart, Holmes Beach, Fla.; brother, Paul, Windsor, Conn.; grandchildren, Daniel Babella, Justin Babella, Cory Stewart, Kelly Stewart; great-grandchild, Caitlyn Faye Smith; sisters-in-law, Mary Kay GooGoo, Whycocomagh; Jane Abram, Truro. He was predeceased by son, Thomas; former wife, the former Alice Young (Antigonish). Visitation will be Saturday, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Little Narrows Presbyterian Church, Rev. Ron Sharpe officiating. Burial in Little Narrows Cemetery.
