GEORGE, Tryphena 'Trixie' - 68, Queensport, Guysborough Co., died Monday, June 26, 2006, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Lead Cove, N.L., she was a daughter of the late Eli and Pearl (Button) Button. She was a former employee of Volkswagen Canada and was self-employed in the hospitality business for a number of years. She was a member of Christ Anglican Church, Queensport. Trixie was a helping hand to all who passed through her life and a great fundraiser for her church. She truly loved a game of cards at any time. Surviving are husband, Paul; sister, Stella (Alfred) Richard, Oshawa, Ont.; brothers, Morley (Florence), Conception Bay, N.L.; Andrew (Rosalyn), Bobcaygeon, Ont.; Don (Frances), Mount Pearl, N.L.; a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in Christ Anglican Church with Rev. Tory Byrne officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Trixie may be made to Christ Anglican Church, Queensport.
