GOYETCHE, Eugene Godfrey “Bucky” – 83, Louisdale, Richmond Co. passed away peacefully on Wednesday April, 21, 2010 at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish with his nieces by his side. Born in Louisdale, he was a son of the late Felix Stanley and Beatrice Mary (Samson) Goyetche. He was a resident of Richmond Villa, St. Peter’s. He served in the United States Army. He was employed as a welder at General Electric in Everett Massachusetts where he resided until his retirement. He moved to Louisdale in 1987. Uncle Bucky enjoyed a great game of golf and spent many hours following the sport on television. He was a generous and kind man who will be dearly missed. He is survived by his brother Phil (Laurie), Broadview Heights, Ohio; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Although he was not blessed with children of his own, he cherished his Godchild Mary (Scott) Donovan, Lynnfield, Mass. and family member Tommy. Uncle Bucky also held a special place in the hearts of Janet, David, Micayla and David Jr. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Almeda (Samson), brother Henry, sister Florence Benson. There will be no visitation by request. Cremation has taken place and the cremains will rest at Glenwood Cemetery, Everett, Mass. from where a private graveside service will take place at a later date. Donations in Uncle Bucky’s memory may be made to Richmond Villa, St. Peter’s. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
