GREENCORN, Joseph Ambrose "Joe" – 81, Canso, Guysborough Co., passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Canso, he was a son of the late Ludvey and Geneva (Murphy) Greencorn. He was a retired fish plant worker. He was a member of Canso United Baptist Church. Surviving are his daughters, Tammie (Troy) Delorey, Tickle; Dianna (Mike) Greencorn, Canso; sons, Harvey, Port Hawkesbury; David (Shirley), Canso; sisters, Hazel MacKenzie, Amherst; Hattie Feltmate, Truro; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Hazel (Roberts) Greencorn; brothers, Charles, Tory, Lloyd, Steward, Cecil and Daryl. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2-9p.m. in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral service will be 2p.m. Monday from Canso United Baptist Church, with Rev. David Wheeler officiating.
