GROVER, Cecil Henry – 50, Upper Whitehead, Guysborough Co., died suddenly on Saturday, September 28, 2013, in Dartmouth. Born in Guysborough, he was a son of Mary Daisy Elizabeth (Parker) Grover and the late Douglas Joseph "Doug" Grover.
He was a Tower Crane Operator, a Boom Truck Operator and a Fisherman. He was predeceased by his sister, Janice; nephew, Myles and father, Douglas. He is survived and sadly missed by his mother, Daisy; his girlfriend, Kim Farmer; daughter, Jessica (whom he loved dearly); sisters, Juanita (Mike) Dort; Donna (Blair) Horne; Arlene (Dave) Bannister; Coleen (Darren) Wright; brother, Doug; brother-in-law, Rob (Marlaine) Myatt.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Friday from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Port Felix, with Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
