Gingras, Réal Yves - 79, Havendale, Guys Co. Passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013 in Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough. Born in St. David, Que., on October 17, 1933, to the late Adolphe and Annoncia (Alain) Gingras. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Cunningham, MacDougall) Gingras; his step-children, Valerie [MacDougall] (Roger) Chan, Markham, Ont.; Shelley [MacDougall] Calvin McBain, Valcartier, Que.; Forrest MacDougall (Donna Campbell), St. Lambert, Que.; Wendy [MacDougall] (Glen) MacIntyre, Palmyra, PA; Tracey [MacDougall] (Stanley) Kwiaton, La Prarie, Que; step-grandchildren, Jonathan, Derek, Brandon Chan; Brittany, Lundy McBain; Stephanie (David Grilk), Mitchell MacDougall; Natasha, Amanda, Makayla MacIntyre; sisters, Claire Gingras (Henri Slater),Paulette Gingras (René Miller deceased); brothers, Alain (deceased) Claire Denis, Andre (Claudette Auclair), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. on Friday in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Guysborough Intervale and from where the Funeral Mass will be held at 3 p.m. with Father Lazarus officiating. Burial will take place in Quebec at a later date. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia Lung Association, Milford Haven Home for Special Care or a charity of your choice.
