It is with saddened hearts the family announces the passing of Sarah, on Sunday, November 7, 2004, in Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home. Born in Sydney, she was a daughter of the late Roderick and Wilena (Smith) MacPherson. Surviving are daughters, Ruth (Bernie) MacLean, River Denys; Norma MacDonald, Tewkesbury, Mass.; Charlotte Gately, Milford, Mass.; Judy Warren, Toronto, Ont.; Peggy Keefe, Verdun, Que.; Phyllis Morrison, Calgary, Alta.; Coleen MacPherson, Hamilton, Ont.; son, Jack (Nancy) MacPherson, Halifax; sister, Phyllis (Charles) Mann, Daytona, Fla.; brothers, Gordon (Lil), Westmount; Melvin, Sydney; Fraser (Mary Lee), North Sydney; Donald (Sheila), Sydney; 31 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George Archibald 'Happy'; grandson, Robert Gately; brothers, Kenny, Norman, Murdock, Clifford, Harold, Johnny, and Roy. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Forbes United Church, River Denys, Rev.
