Frances Lucina Keefe Obituary

Keefe, Frances Lucina 'Fran' - 68, Canso, died Thursday, January 27, 2005, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Little Dover, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Haines) Keefe.


She was employed with Seafreez Foods, Canso, until its closure. She was a member of Star of the Sea Parish, Canso.


Frances is survived by her common-law husband, Laurier Richards; sisters, Marion (Gerard) Myatt, Paula Keefe, both of Little Dover; brothers, Gabe (Evie), Clarence (Theresa), Jerome (Ruth), all of Little Dover; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, John; two sisters in infancy.


Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. this evening and 2-9 p.m. Sunday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Monday in Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Father Daniel Boudreau officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.
