MacFADYEN, Archibald 'Archie' - 75, Aberdeen, Inverness Co., died Wednesday, November 30, 2005, in Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck. Born in Aberdeen, he was a son of the late Duncan and Rachel (Nicholson) MacFadyen. Archie was an adherent of Little Narrows Presbyterian Church. Surviving are sisters, Christy (Al) Mitchell, British Columbia; Katherine Garland, Baddeck; Florence (John) Daley, Shearwater; Effie (George) MacLean, Peacock Point, Ont.; Carrie (Wayne) McMillan, Niagara Falls, Ont.; brothers, Duncan (Gloria), Aberdeen; Douglas (Kennena), Aberdeen; many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Margaret Brown, Alexandria Gillis; brothers, John, Robert 'Bobby', and two brothers in infancy. By request, there will be no visitation. Committal service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 10, in Little Narrows Presbyterian Church, Rev. Ron Sharpe officiating. Donations in memory of Archie may be made to Little Narrows Presbyterian Church, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
