FELTMATE, Judson Ross - 66, Port Hawkesbury, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Canso, he was a son of the late Ross and Mae Laura (Nickerson) Feltmate. Jud was a retired employee of Stora Enso, Point Tupper. He was a member of Causeway Pentecostal Church, Port Hawkesbury, and a member of International Gideons of Canada. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Nina (George); son, Christopher (Joy) and their son Chandler, all of Edmonton, Alta.; sisters, Lorraine (Willard) O'Leary, Barbara (Bernard) Delorey, Ann (Joe) Flemming, all of Tickle; brothers, Berton (Brenda), Percy (Rose), both of Tickle; brother-in-law, Clyde MacKenzie, Durells Island. He was predeceased by sister, Helena MacKenzie; brother, Lawrence. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in Canso United Baptist Church, Rev. David Wheeler officiating. Burial in Fourth Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of choice. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
