Fraser, Mary "Viola" -78, Halifax formerly of Mulgrave, passed away peacefully in Q.E.11 Hospital, Halifax with her loving family at her side on Thursday, June 3, 2010. Born in Antigonish, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Gertrude Fitzner. She loved bingo; the soap's and shows of Judge Judy. She will be sadly missed by her friend's and especially her family. She is survived by her son, Joey (Marion) Fraser, Steep Creek; daughters, Carmie (Rodney) Henson, Fairview; Darlene (Ian) Duncan, Halifax; stepchildren, Jacquline(Terry) DeCoste, Mulgrave; Harriet (Ronald) Timmons, Margaree; Lisa Campbell, Monastery;Irene Dorton (Vernon McNamara), Halifax; Danny, Alberta; Willy, Troy; grandchildren, Mary Anne, Wanda, Jennifer and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Jarett, Morgan, Brady, Melaine, Eric, Nevaeh and Jaylen. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Fraser, mother, Gertrude Fitzner, brother, Charlie, sister, Jeanette and common-law husband, Walter Dorton. Visitation 2-9 p.m. Sunday in Mulgrave and Area Resting Place. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 7th in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Mulgrave, Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only, please.
