Fraser, Marion Theresa – 59, Steep Creek, Guysborough Co., passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 in Guysborough Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Marion was born in Steep Creek, a daughter of the late Russell and Cora (Hart) England. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She liked to make people laugh, and she liked to be "home", as she was a very private person. Marion loved her friends. She loved to see the wildlife coming around the house especially the little brown bunny. She loved to spend time with Joey, the love of her life. Marion leaves to mourn her husband, Joey; her daughters, Mary Anne (Joey Scott) Crant, Steep Creek; Wanda (Freddy) Scott, Truro; her siblings, Hazel (Roddie) MacRae, Port Hawkesbury; Genevieve (Edward) Grant, Guysborough; Arthur (Annabell) England, Manassette Lake; Verna (Truman) Pauley, Peggy’s Cove; Shirley (Marvin) Ehler, Mulgrave; Mary (Sandy) Ryan, Melford; Wally (Linda Tory) England, Boylston; Johnny England, Enfield; Gary (Kathleen) England, Boylston; Sylvia (Gerald) Breen, Cape Jack; Gregory (Carol Ann) England, Manchester; sister-in-laws, Carmarie (Rod) Henson and Darlene (Ian) Duncan both of Halifax; grandchildren, Jaret Fraser, Brady Crant, Morgan Scott, Melanie Scott and Eric Scott, and numerous nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John James "Jack" and Mary Viola Fraser, Mary’s partner Walter Dorton. A gathering will be held at Joey and Marion’s residence 6725 Rte 344, Steep Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral mass will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Mulgrave, with Fr. Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made in Marion’s memory to Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
