Fox, Jacqueline Rose – Port Hastings. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, nanny, sister, aunt and friend on Sunday, April 10, 2022 in the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home.

Jackie as many know her grew up on Crandall Road along with her 7 siblings. She graduated from Judique High School.

She married in 1962, together with Lloyd they raised 5 children and had many foster children. She spent endless hours volunteering with the Port Hastings Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, loved spending winter months snowmobiling with friends and family, time at the camp at Lake Horton, enjoyed many seasons of camping along the Sunrise Trail and she also enjoyed knitting and making crafts. You could always find her playing Bingo or cards with family and friends. She was a true Toronto Maple Leaf and Blue Jay fan.

Jackie is survived by her children, Robert (Yvonne) Fox, Donna Currie (Joe), Dorothy Fox (Charles), Curtis (Susan) Fox and Kimberly Fox (Brian); grandchildren, Samantha, Michael, Katie, Aven, Arlene, Sam, Chloe, Logan, Alison, Jillian; great grandchildren, Michelle, Kayleigh, Terrence, Chelsea, Johnathan, Layla, Jackson and Parker; siblings, Loretta MacDonald Anderton, Nanaimo, BC, Claudette Fox, Port Hastings, Donnie MacDonald, Port Hawkesbury, Ralph MacDonald, Sussex, NB and Sandy MacDonald, Troy. Jackie was predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Lloyd Robert Fox, brother, William "Bill" MacDonald, sister, Sadie MacEachern and her parents, John Malcolm and Charlotte MacDonald.

Our family is thankful for the ongoing support from our community, all the doctors who cared for Jackie, Strait Richmond hospital and the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home.

Cremation has taken place, a graveside service will take place at 11a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at St. David’s United Church Cemetery, Port Hastings. There will be a luncheon after the service at the Port Hastings Fire Hall.
