Rosello, Mary "Christena" - Age 98 years of Port Hawkesbury. Passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home. Born in West Bay Road, Inverness Co. on August 3, 1918 she was a daughter of the late Neil D. and Annie (MacCuish) Morrison. She moved to New York in 1938 where she met the love of her life Ralph Rosello, and they were married on June 24, 1944 for 47 years. Christena worked in New York as a secretary at 99 John St. and Wall St. in the Financial District for 50 years. She retired and returned to Cape Breton in 1991. She was an honorary member of the Evergreen Seniors Club, Port Hawkesbury and a past member of the St. Joseph CWL, Port Hawkesbury. Christena loved spending time with her family whether in her own home or the nursing home. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her Husband, Ralph Rosello; sisters, Sadie (Mickey) MacLean, Anne Margaret (John Robert) MacEachern, brother, John (Jessie) Morrison. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, her bowling buddies and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday in St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, West Bay Road, with Father Joe MacKenzie officiating.
