Obituary
Please share a memory of Barbara to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mosher, Barbara "Barb" Agnes – Little Dover. It is with resound sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Agnes Mosher, age 70, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend that occurred suddenly at Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso on Thursday, July 15th, 2021.
She has been a confidant, cheerleader, and support system and left us way too soon. She was the kind of woman who possessed not just love but unconditional love for her family who were, without question, her entire world. A simple visit to her home, a conversation, along with a glance at her walls would show any visitor the most amazing collection of photos and memories of her family that not even the most famous galleries could compete with.
At the age of 60 "Barb" made the courageous decision to go back to school to obtain her High School Diploma and then went on to get her degree in Culinary Arts, a field she continued to work in for the next 10 years. When not following her career path she enjoyed baking and trying new recipes for and with her family whenever she could. There wasn't a day that you couldn't expect a text or a phone call that always ended with "I will always love you to the moon and back". She tried her best to keep her family all together as a unit and succeeded even through her life struggles.
Barb was predeceased by her Parents: Herman and Hazel, Siblings Irma, Wallace, Elliot, Bobby and Basil.
Barb is survived by her children: Terry Lynn, Roseanne (Les), Travis (Susanne), and Aaron (Pamela). Grandchildren: Haley, Kendra, Amber, Kennedy, Tanner, Jaylin, Grant, Ewan, Noah and Audrey. Great-Grandchildren: Nova and Brentley. Siblings: Thelma, Beverley (Doug), Debbie (Danny), and Melvin (Jeannie). She will also be greatly missed by her cousin and friend, Aubrey Bouchie.
The family would like to express their immense gratitude to the staff of Eastern Memorial Hospital and EHS. Your professionalism and compassion will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20th in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday. July 21st from St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Little Dover with Father Jonathan Nnajiofor officiating. Burial in St. Agnes Parish Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Eastern Memorial Hospital Foundation. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
