Anne Elizabeth "Anna" Kehoe Port Hawkesbury The family of Anne Elizabeth "Anna" Kehoe - age 90 of Port Hawkesbury sadly announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Anna was born in Sydney, the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (MacMullin) MacArthur. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many. Raymond and Anna moved with their family to Port Hawkesbury in 1961. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish where she loved her years in the choir, and enjoyed nothing more than making the phone calls and being sure everyone had their hymn sheets. She was a member of the Evergreen Senior’s Club where she loved her quilting sessions and tea with the ladies. She remained active and in the home she loved. She was always anxious to hear how extended family members were doing. Anna had the best neighbours in the world, who she dearly loved. Her daily phone calls with friends brought her such joy. Left to mourn her passing are children, Raylene (Edward) MacDonald of Long Point; Karen (Almon) Chisholm, Port Hawkesbury; John (Susan) Halifax; and Paul, Port Hawkesbury; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. We will all miss her forever. Also surviving is her brother, John MacArthur, North Sydney and sister-in-law, Judy MacArthur, Westmount. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Raymond in 2002, and her beloved son, Charlie in 2010, as well as brothers, Joe, Donald, Roddie, and Sandy.
