Leonard, Mitchell Creighton, 53- West Bay, Inv Co., died Friday, November 27, 2009 in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born In Arichat, Richmond Co., he was the son of the late Jean Kathryn (Leonard) Cresine. Creighton was a construction worker, and served in the Canadian Armed Forces for a period of time. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 47, St. Peter’s. He leaves to mourn his Aunt Minnie Alice, New Jersey, USA; aunts, Madeline, Hamilton, ON, Beverly and Margaret, both of West Bay; uncles, Ross (Tena), Mitchell (Marguerite), C.R. and Donald all of West Bay, Arvid Ferguson, Ancaster, ON; grand-aunt Lena Olsen, Hamiltion, ON. Creighton was predeceased by his step-father, Ellis Cresine; aunt, Frances Ferguson; uncles, Herbert, Alexander, Walter, Lloyd, Lawrence and Ewen. It was Creighton’s wish that there be no visitation. Funeral service will be held Monday, November 30, at 2 p.m. in West Bay United Church with the Wayne Yorke, DLM officiating. Burial in West Bay Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations in Creighton’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society “The Lodge That Gives”, West Bay Cemetery or a charity of choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
