Reynolds, Mary "Rod" Regina – 99, Port Hawkesbury, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012 in the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home. Born September 18, 1913, in Petit de Grat, Richmond Co., she was a daughter of the late John Z. and Lily Jane (Fougere) Boudreau. She was employed as a cook at the former Wandlyn Motel, Port Hawkesbury for many years. She was a 55 year member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 43, Port Hawkesbury, also a 55 year member of the Ladies Auxiliary Port Hawkesbury Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Evergreen Seniors Club. Mary enjoyed playing cards, bingo, travelling and most of all cooking. Mary is survived by her daughter, Doris Richard, Port Hawkesbury; sons, Fred Boudreau, New Carile, Que.; Herbie, Truro; Steve (Dorothy), Port Hawkesbury; sisters, Josephine Martell, West Arichat; Evelyn Martell, Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home; Rose Boudreau, Janvrin’s Island; brother, Gerald (Mary Louise), The Point; grandchildren, Andrea MacLean, Lorie, Foster, Stephanie Saulnier, Steven Jr., Harry, Tammy, Crystal, Dianna, Sean, Dwayne, Dino and Freddie; great-grandchildren, Richard, Jerry, Elizabeth, Edwin, Jeremiah, Blake, Emma, Ryan, Ashley, Tyler, Brandon, Ryan, Nerial and Noah. She was predeceased by her husband, Roddie; sons, R.J. and Harry; sisters, Eva May and Gertie; brothers, Felix, Lawrence, Godfrey, Emile and Clifford. Visitation will be from 2-9p.m. Thursday in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral service will be 11a.m. Friday from St. Mark’s United Church, Port Hawkesbury, with Nan Corrigan officiating. Burial will follow in Southbrook Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
